We really enjoyed our adventure, especially the kids who loved rock climbing and the scenery was so beautiful. The staff at the hotel are very kind and our tour guide speaks English very fluently. If we have any questions, he will patiently explain them. We were very pleased with the two half-day tours organized by our tour guide.

I had a great time at Taj camp. The dinner is so good, much better than any dishes I had at Mövenpick Dead Sea Resort buffet. Chicken rice yummy! Mutton meat balls yummy. Camp manager Nayef is fun. Deep down he is a very nice guy, fun to be with. Top 1 memory is when we drove to the big mushroom and Nayef got out of his 4WD and danced a bit with some Arabic techno from the radio. And then I danced, too, after him! Imagine a 50 year old rigid guy traveling alone! I just felt so free in this wild wild intoxicating magic desert. Top 2 memory is Nayef taking me and 2 other guests to the middle of no where in the desert 6 o’clock in the morning to watch the sunrise. This serenity is something I’ve never experienced, feeling relaxed and so contented. Nayef set up a fire and made “the best tea in Wadi Rum” over the first sunlight… Come and experience all these for yourself. Btw, shower in the bathroom is unexpectedly comfortable, no different from at the luxury hotel. And there was plenty of drinking water both in the room and the canteen.

Ayla’s camp hospitality is on another level. Everyone went above and beyond to take care of us, organise our jeep adventures and be flexible with the timings. The family environment made it enjoyable for my son who’s 3 years old and the camp tents were really comfortable too. With so many camp options in the area, I’d recommend this camp.

From the very beginning, I realized that NAJD Camp is not just a place — it’s a truly exceptional experience. Let me begin with a touching moment: my wife forgot her personal camera at the camp, and before we even realized it, Yousef called us to say they had found it. Even more impressive, they delivered it to the airport for free, beautifully wrapped. This act alone speaks volumes about their honesty and genuine care for guests. As for the stay itself — everything was incredible. We went on an exciting jeep tour through the heart of the desert with our guides, Ali and Yousef, who added warmth and authenticity to the experience. At night, we sat beneath a breathtaking sky full of stars — it was peaceful, beautiful, and deeply calming. The food was another highlight. We tried the traditional Zarb, a Bedouin-style meal that was absolutely delicious, and there were also well-prepared Western dishes available to suit all tastes. The tents were spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. The bathrooms were cleaned to a high standard, and room service was fast, professional, and genuinely kind. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Najd Camp. Not just for the adventure, but because it’s a rare and unforgettable experience that stays with you.
