Spacious and beautiful Well equipped with good heatings Friendly staff who picks you up at ferry pier Conveniently located even if you don’t drive Surrounded by birds in this beautiful island Heard that there is a family of Kiwi living nearby, and may pop up during summertimes (although we didn’t see it)

The stay was magnificent: so tranquil and beautiful. The birdlife was fantastic. We fell asleep to the sound of kiwi and ruru and woke up to the song of tui and korimako. The facilities were modern, clean and beautiful with a lovely patio with a nice bbq. I'll definitely stay here again. The only thing I regret is that we only booked it for one night!

Lovely self catering facilities. We enjoyed a pasta dish we prepared in the electric frying pan which worked out pretty well and was easy to clean. Enjoyed the location and we were able to let our ten year old walk to the four square on his own and Rakiura is the only place on earth that feels safe enough to do that.
