The lady was extremely nice and pleasant: hot muffins to welcome us, sending back an item which we had forgotten, nice piece of advice... The room was clean and large, and the location in Owaka is perfect to discover the Catlins.

A cosy cabin, very comfortable. Unexpected views down to the river & beach. Great place to explore the Caitlins from. Our hosts Fergus & Mary were brilliant & made us feel very welcome. A very interesting couple to chat to, and a pleasure looking at Fergus's beautiful artwork. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It’s small but very cosy and really well designed and equipped. Also very clean. The BBQ was excellent and we sat out listening to the birds during the day and looking at the stars at night. It was so peaceful. The view was lovely.

Very good communication between the hosts and ourselves. Lovely quiet location and close to some fantastic walks. The kitchen had everything including a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge . Very clean. Beds comfortable . Lovely get away for our wedding anniversary
