I loved the location & rustic garden setting, the trickling water and the happily chirping frogs in the pond. It was a treat to be close to nature and have the view over the township below after days spent in big cities & close spaces.

The property itself is really beautiful. The room is very spacious, equipped with everything you would need and spotless. The owners (Antonio & Soledad) are a lovely couple, very welcome and the breakfast they prepare is out of this world. Soledad was suoer kind with our two kids, showing them around the trees, the animals, ... I would highly recommend to stay and relax here.

    We arrived half an hour later than we planned because of the traffic, but the host was waiting for us and showed us the apartment and sent places to have breakfast in thereafter. Also, there was a sunny and cozy barbecue patio and a spacious kitchen to cook

    This is a really nice rural self-catering place. We have stayed there before - it's near our daughter's home - so it's convenient for what we needed. I think it would make a good base for anyone visiting the area; it's near enough to Portalegre for you to get your shopping and so forth, and in easy reach of the tourist bits at Marvao. Our grandson is very impressed with the baby goats, as well.

    Very nice cottages,with good pricacy,good beds,very clean. The rooms within the cottages are not really sound proof,the walls are just a visual barrier. Kitchen was good,with basic equipment. The owner does not speak English,but very friendly and patient and helpful. The view is absolutely stunning. Great experience.
