Raphy's house is the best place in Nungwi. I spent 2 weeks feeling at home. The room is phenomenal, it has fans, the bathroom is wonderful, the kitchen, the refrigerator, it has a washing machine and a living room upstairs with sofas and hammocks that is a delight. The house was beautiful and clean! The house manager Issac was very helpful and personable. He arranged all of our shuttle needs and answered any questions we had. All of the staff and housekeeping were very nice and we felt safe at all times. The pool was very refreshing, and there are rooftop views where you can watch the sunset! I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect place for holidays if you enjoy uncrowded beaches. Appartment offers all the comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. Adam, the estate manager supported us with anything we needed: organising transportation, delivering produce, providing information, etc. Zanzibar felt like home.

BamBam Bungalows is stylish, intimate en homely. It has a beautiful garden with plants and a pool. The hospitality of the staff felt like a warm shower: when I needed a talk, they were there for me, When I needed privacy, they ware sensitive to that too. They were very service minded. The location is very practical in between a (working) ATM machine and the beach. It is situated in a local area and, once you know it, is very easy to find. I stayed for 4 days and would love to come back one day.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Coco Haus. It was a very nice and pleasant place from where it is close to the beach and the center of Nungwi. The Slovak owner is very kind and accommodating. The room equipment was stylish and clean. The garden kitchen is perfectly equipped. I will definitely come back here again when traveling to Zanzibar because the price compare with other accommodation in main season is reasonable and I left with a good feeling. I highly recommend it to every traveler going to Nungwi who doesn't look about expensive resort but prefer nice home stay experience :)

The place was so nice and quiet. Although it looked simple it had absolutely everything I needed. Kettle, tea and teacup, aircon and fan, private clean bathroom with soap holders and even a tap to wash my feet off from the beach outside. The trees outside are actual fruit trees so it's nice to walk around. Literally a stones throw from the beach. If you walk two minutes left as well there's a massive food court buzzing with life which was fun to discover. The staff were so friendly and active too. One of the staff were even getting rid of bugs from outside my room without me even asking them. They were kind but not overbearing and gave me the peace I needed. Bed was comfy. I had hot water in my shower. My room was beside reception but my wifi had 4 bars no matter where I walked in the hotel. I felt very safe too because the place didn't have a bright neon sign pointing to where it was so no persistent vendors could easily follow me home. Breakfast was freshly made and nice. Seasonal fruits, toast with egg and tea/coffee. Would definitely come back again.
