This place is amazing! Terry, the host, is so friendly and she created the most stunning guesthouse. It's cosy and stylish. Easygoing and comfortable. If you go here (which you should when going to Barrydale!) book at least 2 nights or longer. Barrydale is an interesting little down with many hidden gems to discover and Terry created a place where you at the same time can slow down and enjoy The Karoo.

We were welcomed like old friends and stayed in an amazing beautiful cottage. The weather was cold but our cottage was well equipped with a fire place, a warm comfortable bed and all the amenities needed. The view from the stoep was special.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and has lots of lovely touches to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is huge and there are great views from the front porch. Jamie met us soon after our arrival and was always available to answer questions. She made dinner reservations for us at MUD Modern and recommended many places to go in the area. Jamie even gave us an ice pack and box to transport the sheep's milk yoghurt we bought. We loved how bright and clean the cottage is and highly recommend staying here.

    Very nice self catering apartments with fully equiped kitchen, little veranda with combinded grill and fireplace, even prepared wood, clean bathroom with hot and nice shower (gas powerd -> hot even during loadshed!) and garden view while toothbrushing, very nice host, quiet place, especially at nigth, with living alarm clock in the morning ;-)
