The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a heated outdoor swimming pool are available from May to September, inviting you to relax under the sun.

The double rooms and apartments with kitchen or kitchenette provide a Nespresso coffee machine. Most of them have a balcony. It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay.
