Beach area was nice to sit and relax. We had everything we needed in our room. Pool was nice place to end our days and visit with others. Plenty of towels for pool or beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good everyday and so nice to have it brought to our sitting area.

Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. We totally loved the natural environment, in the middle of the jungle. It’s so secluded and nice. The owner tries her best really well and she’s the most friendly host you will meet. The has a spectaculair eye for detail. There are plants, animals, sounds of the jungle: everything you would expect given the pretty location, we loved it and would recommend!

Amazing place to relax and calm down direct at the beach. The villas are nice and comfortable and there is a beautiful yoga Shala that can be used privately if there is no classes. The personal is very friendly and helpful. The small breakfast includes croissants and fresh fruits. At the small private beach outside of the hotel you can find sun beds, but be careful to swim outside of the hotel, as there are a lot of coral and stones there. There is a better possibility to swim just couple meter away to the right side of the hotel.
