Good location, close to Hamra Str., very helpful staff, room with sea view was big, comfortable and clean. I was happy to visit Beirut and I recommend stay at El Sheikh Hotel. Ps. It is located in Ain El Mraisseh in the heart of the touristic and business area of Beirut, just a 2 minutes' walking distance from Zaytuna Bay and Ayn Mrayseh Cornich (Mediterranean Sea). You cannot go wrong. Great people who spoke perfect English and made me comfortable, I felt like they were invested in keeping me safe and as a solo lady this is important to me. They were not invasive but helpful, seet people who made sure I had water ♡ Also much quieter than expected I had no issues and I'm a light sleeper

I was pleasantly welcomed with smiling staff and an upgrade at 1 am. the property is in a great central location, walkable to many of the key spots in Beirut, national museum, the idi Amin mosque, the old centre, the souks. The staff are just the loveliest and most helpful people I have met in a long time.
