First of all the people working in this hostel are very sweet helpful and answered all of my numerous questions about travelling around Kandy. The hostel is extremely clean, there are 2 big common areas, a laundry place (for free by the way), 2 kitchens, books and a notebook with many tips for Sri lanka written by travellers (restaurants, homestays, what to visit etc) which I find so useful and so cool! Rooms are big and bright, there is hot shower and AC, a desk with a drawer that you can lock. People are very respectful and quiet here. It is a good 35 min walk to the clock tower but you can take the bus if you prefer. I highly recommend this place, it is easy to meet people and you get so many travelling tips!

From our room, we had a great view of the accommodation's garden, which was very beautiful. The room itself is also decorated in beautiful colors that match the garden. In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

Located within 2.8 km of Kandy railway station and 3.5 km of Bogambara Stadium in Kandy, Feel Home offers accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. This place is really exceptional, we stayed 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed it. The host Fazly is truly amazing - he arranged a pickup for us from the train station, helped with all the tips and information, and generally just a good hearted and lovely person. The place is spotless clean, well arranged and well taken care of. I also really appreciated that the owner provides drinking bottles and filtered water to reduce plastic usage, and also recycling. We took a western breakfast on one of the days and it was delicious, there’s also a Sri Lankan breakfast option, which we didn’t try. Location was great too - it’s a short drive by tuk-tuk or a car, and being outside of the busy Kandy center you get a total peace, plus an amazing view. Absolutely recommend.
