En suite bathrooms come with a hairdryer and offer hot or cold shower facilities. We booked the large family room. The hotel and staff truly exceeded our expectations. It had every additional amenity you could think of such as baking ovens, blenders, and complete utensils. The bed in the master room was so spacious and comfortable, and there were several balconies with tables and chairs overlooking the pool, which was clean and did not smell strongly of chlorine. The staff were super warm and accommodating and would greet you with a smile. I was afraid our suite would smell funky due to the size and lack of maintenance but I was totally wrong. There were no weird smells at all and the rooms were very clearly well-maintained. The vibe of the place is just 10/10. Well-lit location that is within walking distance to D-mall but is also quiet and private. Book them and you won't regret it!

We loved how beautiful the room, garden and pool were. the shared kitchen and bbq and laundry area are also super helpful! the room was so spacious with a nice little couch area to chill. honestly, this place is stunning.

Very clean, a/c worked great, kitchen was tidy and staff were very helpful. Did not need hot water! Location was fine if you don’t mind walking a bit but the staff will assist you with getting a scooter if you want one!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Alona Apartments. The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10!

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also available, as well as a kettle. At the guest house, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. We loved the hospitality from Berni’s Hostel! Janice was very helpfull and welcoming. Pool, shower and bed were great. Moalboal in general was also a great town on our trip! You could walk to the city if you would like that but you can easily rent a bike with the staff.
