We had the most fantastic stay at Haven Mountain Retreat. The staff exceeded our expectations with their warm and attentive service. We drove past on arrival and missed the apartment, but the host was very quick to answer messages, so we were soon in the right location. We had brought food with us for this one and the apartment had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Our host was so friendly and showed us round and then left us alone, I think she lives in the apartment next door. We walked about fifteen minutes to a restaurant that just did snacks, clearly the rules about smoking inside didn't seem to apply at the location, but the landlords (as it was more a pub really) were lovely and the location was beautiful, as was the walk to get there and the sun setting over the mountains on the way back. The rooms were comfortable with a nice shower and facilities for washing clothes, a must when travelling for a month. The bed was nice and comfy and the are was so lovely and quiet.

With mountain views, THE MATTHEW - Copper Lodge is set in Wagrain and has a restaurant, a lift, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area.

My room was spaciously designed and provided a breathtaking view of the mountains from the bed, as well as a picturesque view of greenery directly from the bathtub, allowing for moments of pure relaxation. The minibar was generously stocked and offered a delicious selection of snacks and drinks, with complimentary coffee, tea, and water provided by the hotel—a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. The spa area was equally tasteful in design, offering water, tea, and a small selection of nuts to encourage relaxation and unwinding. A perfect retreat for both body and mind! I opted for the half-board package and was thoroughly delighted. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, offering a wide variety that catered to every taste. The dinner was outstanding – beautifully presented and a true delight for the palate!

Very friendly people (who speak both German and English), check-in went smooth and was flexible. Large & clean room and bathroom, breakfast was very nice. Sufficient free parking availability in front of the hotel and Wifi works very well. The location is on walking distance to all restaurants in the center of Altenmarkt. There was also place to store your bike. I had an excellent stay and can definitely recommend this place.

Once again an amazing stay at this boutique hotel which is right by the ski sloops. Staff very friendly and attentive to their guests. Breakfast amazing. Dinner is great and would also recommend eating at is sister hotel which is less than a 10 min walk away. Great spa with 3 saunas (2 brand new this year)

Location is wonderful, on the hill, so you can look around and its very quiet. Staff is very friendly and food was nice too. Room looks new and modern and the bed is very comfy.
