We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

Situated 20 minutes drive to Moelltaler glacier, an excellent choice for every ski enthusiast. The apartment is very big in size, you get a very cosy stay for a surprisingly favourable price. I can only write in superlatives: welcoming hosts ~ the owners are very kind, super clean and big apartment, tall ceilings give it an extra special feeling of richness. The only thing you might not be happy about is the view from one of the balconies ~ one of the neighbours has a farm that is falling apart ~ yet a small price to pay in comparison to all the other benefits you get. Big beds, huge closets, small but still very cosy bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room area, two TV sets, two balconies, quiet and nature surrounded neighbourhood. Highly recommended!

Silvia the host is very warm and accommodating. The location is in the centre of town and there is a good cafe and restaurant at the premises which is open from 8 am to 7pm, so very handy when you arrive thirsty and tired! Lovely place to just sit, and popular with the locals. The kitchen is well equipped and bathroom, dining and bedroom spacious. There is a tourist information on site.

We were seven people in total and stayed here with absolute comfort. It is warm, spacious, quiet and clean. The kitchen had a lot of dishes and cups, all sorts of things for cooking. We also used a sauna on the premises which is very affordable. The best part is having a private ski room with a heater!

Hotel is large and during our stay busy. Coach delivery of guests during evening and morning collection resulted in a lot of people traffic. Breakfast was good choice, evening meals were fine. Parking outside was busy Motorcycles and car parking at times and walkers enjoyed the hotel. The Hotel is located on a hill and for some walking may prove hard outside hotel grounds.
