The host was great! Super helpful and friendly and let us leave our bags there overnight while we went to schaffler hut. The breakfast spread was nice and the rooms were clean. Hot water was great. Best location right on front of the station.

I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!

Matjaz was super nice, we felt welcome right away. We were upgraded to the Adler suite which was a bigger room with a nice large shower, vintage furniture and super comfy bed. At breakfast we were well looked after as well. We came with our dog without issue, they even said we could have him with us at breakfast.

The Hotel Frohe Aussicht hotel enjoys a quiet location in Schwende in the Alpstein Hiking Area. It offers free WiFi, fine regional cuisine, and a sauna.

The views are amazing and I enjoyed the great breakfast! Also, the sauna was a nice surprise and easy to book online, after 30 minutes someone came to the room with robes. I highly recommend this hotel.

Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended. A really relaxing environment that provides all we need for our short stay.

I booked this hotel for my 2 day hiking trip to Säntis, the staff was exceptional and helped me find the best hikes and locations around. They made my stay that much better. The hotel itself was the best I've been to so far, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is right next to the train station and bus stop, also really close to some challenging hikes. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough! The staff and owners are amazing, I wish them the best.
