What an amazing experience! The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, they communicated with us so that a shuttle was waiting to pick us up from the station when we arrived. And then there was the view from the room… words cannot describe it. Heavenly. I would love to come back here. It was quite expensive in our standards, but definitely worth every penny.

Best customer service ever. Friendly and accommodating throughout. I came back late from a hike and they kindly extended the dinner hours without a grouch. Lent me a raincoat for a rainy-day outing at Trummelbach Falls. Sorry that I had to rush off to catch the train without saying a proper goodbye!

Of a two week trip throughout Europe this hotel was by far our favorite. The views/location was breathtaking, the room (Duplex) was clean, comfortable and luxurious in size, and the staff was kind and helpful at every turn. This hotel is outstanding. My wife and I booked a stay here without knowing that it was their first week reopened after a remodel. Everything in the room and all amenities were brand new and top quality. We were upgraded to a mountain view room, which was exceptional. Wengen is a stunning mountain town, and this hotel is warm, relaxing, and the staff took extra care to be hospitable and accommodating. They offered to drive us anywhere and picked us up from the train station, which was nice not to pull our luggage through the snow. Additionally, my wife has some sensitivity to smells that can trigger her migraines and this hotel was fragrance free which we always appreciate when traveling. We ate at the restaurant, which has an expansive menu to fit many dietary needs and was much better than the other restaurant we went to in town.

This place was a romantic gem on our honeymoon tour! The view from the place is stunning, and the location is perfectly situated in the landscape, close enough to walk to the center, but far enough from the concentrated areas of hotels. It was a true charming chalet experience. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your own meals, which is what we did. Rebecca was so warm and inviting, and Fritzly the cat was a lovely bonus! I much preferred staying in Wengen and having the option to visit Lauterbrunnen, Maennlichen, Grindelwald etc. Very accessible to the hiking trails. It was peaceful and romantic. Definitely recommend!
