"La Maison des Vignes" is the ideal gateway to Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the area. It's a beautiful Provence-like large house with amazing views of the mountains, valley and lake, and a nice little garden. It's in a quiet spot at the end of a dead end road, within minutes drive of Embrun and with access to a lovely short forest walk at the back of the house. It has all you need for a short or longer stay. We stayed 4 nights with a 17mo baby and really appreciated the level of comfort. And we used the garden a lot! Lovely for breakfast and sunset drinks and dinner :) We spent our days out discovering the area which Dominique, the host, made easy by providing information about walks and places to explore. Dominique was a brilliant host, lovely communication and very friendly. We would stay again! And have already recommended the place to family and friends.

Perfect for us. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly and it was clean. Checkin was simple. This was a temporary base before moving to Les orres ski resort and it was a great. Although the apartment doesn't have views the walks nearby are pretty and you are in easy reach of all main shops and transit links. We stayed another night in an hotel embrun a week later and I regret not booking here again as it was great for us especially as we're vegans and rely on self catering.

Fantastic well equipped and comfortable apartment. Great location in the middle of town but quiet and peaceful.

Room larger than it looked in the photos. Very comfortable, light and airy. Overlooked main square which was quiet. Lift access in renovated old building. Hostess lovely, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to satisfy. Secure bike storage in garage next door. Plenty of restaurants in town. Large flatscreen TV. Good air conditioning but we really didn't need it; there was cool air from the windows.

The hotel is located a bit in the mountains, but easily accessible by car (or a bike, if you’re strong enough). Our room was very clean with an exceptional view on the valley. Food is very good and home made with rather impressive portions (we couldn’t finish even though we have a good appetite). Hosts are very nice too!

Great hotel, very nicely finished and nice modern room. Spa was a lovely extra. 5 mins walk from plan d'eau activity area with nice walks round the lake. Half hour walk to town centre.

Very good location. There's parking behind the building and very good restaurant across the street. Basic amneties but clean. Very good value for the money. Will definitely stay here again. Staff is friendly.
