Ski Resorts in Gozd Martuljek

Everything was perfect and beyond amazing! Photos don’t do it’s justice for sure. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked it without much planning and not knowing about the area as we’re on our road trip from Uk to Croatia. Saw the listing on Booking.com and the place looked exactly how we like and what we wanted for a while but couldn’t find elsewhere. Chalet sofija is nestled among the peaks of the Jura alps. Standing so grandly but so well blended in with the natural beauty around the mountains, we were blown away by it’s gorgeous architecture and tasteful decor and complete luxurious feel the moment we walked into the chalet. This is a super prime luxury property! When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and owner of chalet sofija Alessandra and her beloved dog Tracy. We have two dogs with us and they were delighted to have met new friends. The moment we walked in our jaws dropped by breathtaking view of the mountains with wide deck and infinity swimming pool which is heated 30 degree over looking the mountains and there are sauna and spa also looking over the magnificent view. Pope the owner and Alessandra definitely design so carefully and with no expense spared to make the most of benefits that the mountains give. There are big windows everywhere you’ll have panoramic view from every part of the chalet. Rooms- I almost cried when we walked into our room which also has panoramic view. it’s beyond my imagination how beautiful this huge room. Love how luxurious but at the same time you feel like you’re so close to nature. From the small amenities to super tech built in TV and remote controlled blinds system if necessary to have deep sleep. We also enjoyed fine dining experience by Pope who is renowned restauranteur in Slovenia. Breakfast & dinner both absolutely amazing we felt so pampered while we stayed. With it’s one of a kind view and style, I’m sure the season doesn’t matter!

This looks like a mountain hut from the outside. But don't be fooled. It's a fully renovated building with all the amenities and feel of a great hostel including a full service kitchen, bar, warm showers and really comfortable beds. Staff were fantastic with all of their local advice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. And those views are just unbeatable for a location accessible by road.

The hostel was exceptionally clean. The host was kind and very friendly. I visited Mojstrana by myself in wintertime, without a car. The hostel has an easy access by bus and seems a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts. The town has a big grocery, so no need to carry much. :) As it was low season, I had the luxury to stay by myself in a cozy room. The tiny details of the old, recycled, beautiful materials for some furnitures was a nice extra touch. Hvala lepa in na svidane!

Location, nature, tranquility, kind staff, great food.

We stayed in apartment 14 during the summer. The balcony had a really good view on the highest peaks, the beautiful lakes were 15 minutes on foot, the city center is 3 minutes away so the location is exeptional. It was quiet and comfortable, easy self check-in with clear instructions. The kitchen is well equipped and everything looked new. We even had our own storage place in the garage for our bikes. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

Perfect location, right in the town centre and walking distance from the ski slopes. The apartment itself is neat and tidy with new and well kept furniture, and the owner was very nice and kind. All in all, a perfect choice for your winter vacation!

Its a really good location, everything is close (supermarket, center), and if you travel by car (like I) its a many things not far from apartment to see new nice place .

This was our second stay in this house. The furnishings used in the house were of high quality and clean. Thank you for the kind communication of the host. We love this country with its people and nature. We look forward to the day when we will come back again.

Excellent location and facilities, great food, amazingly friendly and helpfull staff. Very nice atmosfere in front of the hotel on a town square with little wooden counters selling local drinks and food.
