The mountains and the views can’t be discribed. The hotel is so beautiful so cozy and nice, the view from the porch is like you are looking at piece of art. The staff of the hotel were so nice and helpful, especially the lady who stays at evening. The breakfast is simple and good.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. We like everything about this place, it’s away from the city, the view is spectacular, staffs are very good, food are amazing! We stayed in 4 different hotels during our Swiss trip and this one was by far the best even if it wasn’t the most expensive. Staff was very friendly - they upgraded our room and provided baby bed for free. The view from the room is incredible (we had mountains but there is a free access to the balcony on the third floor if you want to take pics of the waterfall). Location was perfect. Parking is very specious. Breakfast was great and the mood in the restaurant is very relaxed. They also have a tea/coffee available for free the whole day and a playgroup corner for kids. You can find a booklet with the information about the area/things to do and hiking routes in the room that we found very interesting and useful!
