We stayed in the beautifully restored guest house and enjoyed an amazing Japanese breakfast in the main house every morning. The owners are a wonderful and incredibly generous family, who went above and beyond and even drove us to local restaurants and a great onsen. As we didn't have a car, we went on a hugely enjoyable tour of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field with the lovely and very knowledgable Nobu. Huge thanks to Nobu and her family for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us in every aspect - picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, calling a taxi for us, etc. Also love that they have different pillow materials and varying degrees of softness/firmness for you to choose from (first come first serve), ensuring a good nights sleep.

The hotel has a karaoke lounge, a ski rental shop, and can assist with ski lesson reservations upon request. Location was great and they had all the facilities you’d need, including onsite ski rental. The breakfast was wonderful everyday and having the option of the public onsen or booking in a private onsen was a real bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Only 4-5 min walk from the west exit of the Echigo-Yuzawa station. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the same street.
