Gorgeous historic property that is well taken care of. stunning views. It was nice to have a place so nicely decorated for the Holidays. The staff was very kind and attentive. They made lovely conversation (telling us some history of the property, the area, etc). The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. We enjoyed that there was a spacious lobby for us to play card games. The tea time was lovely after a day in the cold. Additionally, the sauna was clean and nice to enjoy. The location is close to the Wengen train station and the cable car to Männlichen. There are ski runs from Grindelwald down to Wengen which would make it a nice place to stay if you ski.

Special thanks to Della for her excellent support. The view is just spectacular, you just can’t get enough of it. The apartment is about 20-30 minutes away from Thun and Interlaken.
