Loved the location, great continental breakfast, staff very helpful, rooms comfortable and spacious

Exceptional service and friendliness of each and every staff member in all areas. What we really appreciated was the possibility of using the spa facilities after checkout as well. New Sauna facilities were a dream

- We booked a room with a balcony and it was very nice to be able to sit outside to relax and/or eat dinner after coming back from a long hike. - It was nice to have a screen for one of the windows to keep the bugs out during the night. - Breakfast was great because there were many options for food (hot and cold) and coffee/tea.

Great location for hiking in Appenzell. 10 min drive from the main town with restaurants and supermarket. Beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, and spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was extensive. Loved the homemade bread rolls and wide selection of teas. Would stay again if I hike in that area.

Unfortunately I only booked a one night so I could not enjoy the 'complete experience' this hotel has to offer. They seem to focus on health, wellness, local/own products and good food. I'm sure they deliver a perfect service (it looked very professional). I had a not yet renovated room but it was well maintained and clean. The terrace with the view was amazing. I loved it very much! I didn't have breakfast so I can't give feedback on this.

The views are amazing and I enjoyed the great breakfast! Also, the sauna was a nice surprise and easy to book online, after 30 minutes someone came to the room with robes. I highly recommend this hotel.

A beautifully located hotel. The staff was all very helpful and extremely nice. Breakfast, as well as dinner, were delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very comfortable parking lot beneath the hotel with an elevator from there to all floors. Not a cheap hotel but relative to prices in Switzerland very high value for money.

This property is amazing, I didn't expect such a big hotel and the one of this quality. Everything is great and really thought out. Great breakfast, great sauna, great restaurant (if the chef works up mains a bit, I really see Michelin star for them in the future, the starters are already there, btw). Great bar with live music. Tea and water and fruits are available 24 h on every floor. Honestly, everything was perfect.
