I loved everything about this unique hotel. The reception had the most amazing staff – they spoke excellent English, were incredibly welcoming, and made me feel at home right away. The building itself is breathtaking, it’s almost unbelievable to imagine how it was constructed inside a former quarry. The coffee bar was a true highlight – I could even order a coffee with my own logo on it, without any hesitation. The show at the hotel was spectacular; even though it was in Chinese, it didn’t take away from the wow effect at all.

Offering free Wi-Fi in all areas, Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao provides a fitness centre, spa treatments and an indoor pool. Qibao Ancient Town is a 3-minute drive away.

Fantastic hotel. Got upgraded but huge rooms, very comfortable bed and all the modcons. Loved my stay.

There is no better location if you are going to the fair. Breakfast was top-notch. Everyone was very kind. The massage was excellent.

English is non existing. For an international hotel you’d expect some basic English. Ordering food was very difficult.

Next to Zizhu Development Area, Chateau Star River Shanghai Minhang is located in Minghang District. It features indoor swimming pool and on-site restaurants.
