I had booked an airport hotel as my trip was very short and I didn't want to spend too much time commuting but when this property popped up on Booking.com with a Genius discount I thought, this is a must-see! A major selling point was the free sauna, convenient location in the town where I had my business meetings and the great reviews about the breakfast. Upon arrival at Backby I was transported to a fairy like destination. The landscaping, the buildings, the air that was pure and fresh. Everything felt magical. I slept soundly in the firm single bed and enjoyed a superb breakfast buffet the next day! Even more special the sun was out in all it glory on my second day so I was able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lush Finnish forest. I sat outside for two hours in the sunshine enjoying a three- course breakfast of fresh berries with yoghurt, bread and pastries with sausages, and specially made hot chocolate! This place makes me want to return to Finland!

Rooms were spacious and there was space to hang clothes , a coffee station etc , even bathrobes and slippers. Very central and beautiful building and nicely decorated .Breakfasts were excellent and catered for diffrent requiremets . Staff was polite and helpful . I even got presents from the hotel on my birthday . That was very special . Highly recommended ! 😁

We have been staying at this hotel for 14 years. Although we have been in other hotels in Helsinki. Throughout the years, the level of service remains at a high level. It is noticeable that a gradual renovation is taking place. Sauna (after renovation), swimming pool are great. The hotel is conveniently located for both travel by car and without it. Buses and trains to the center and to the airport run frequently. The breakfasts are delicious.

Sharing a site with the Jumbo Shopping Centre and Flamingo Entertainment Complex, this hotel is 3 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It offers free Wi-Fi and in-room flat-screen TVs.

Location and place is perfect !!! inside the shopping mal with lots of things to do!! Reception and other personal were all very very nice. Just the breakfast was tooooo crowded and too busy.

Wonderful staff that made us feel welcome after a not so nice experience at Hotel Kämp (concierge personally fetched out luggage from other hotel at no surcharge), rooms are exceptionally clean and feature a nice Nordic modern interior. Stylish lighting system, allowing you to set the mood and control lights perfectly. The in-house breakfast and coffee place (also open to external guests) had great quality items and was reasonably priced. SPA area features steam, sauna and small pool as well as a ice bath - all of which is new and well maintained. Would recommend this hotel as the best one in town (including over Kämp).
