A friend recommended this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to others! Lovely hotel, we loved the vibrant yellow walls and decor. The staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. We had a great trip to the waterfall with their driver. Great central location. We loved the afternoon tea and snacks by the poolside everyday. The food in the restaurant was really delicious and great value for money.

Wonderful experience at Ginger House. It was our first day in Kerala and still it is one of the greatest place we have been. THe location is great, walking distance from major hot-spots. The building is incredible, a house that mixes ancient architecture and super warm ambience. We have been trying 2 different rooms (due to last-minute booking) and both they were amazing, especially the one with the balcony overviewing the river which is right in front of the Hotel. Rooms are big, spacious and comfortable, their architecture is amazing. There is a forniture-art museum inside, many artifacts are around the area, in the courtyard and garden which are both facing the river. THe service of George, the person who welcomed us was superlative, he has helped us in solving many issues with the car we were driving and has been always very present when we needed. Breakfast is really great as well, for the location (again in front of the river) and for the quality of the food. We really enjoyed very much the place and recommend it.

The outdoor area was beautiful. In the evenings, the lighting by the pool including candles by the pool was very atmospheric. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was clean and well presented.

Just a short walk from the Pardesi Synagogue and the quaint Jew Town Market, this was a surprise find. Beautiful new hotel , with very clean rooms, modern amenities. We were anxious prior to reaching the place , but as soon as you get to the front of the property you realise this is definitely a really nice hotel. you can literally walk to the ginger house restaurant, with an amazing menu and views, but most other attractions are just a short drive away. The rooms: We opted for the premium delux rooms, these were large rooms, with really tall ceilings, wall to wall tile decor, modern touch sensors and touch buttons. Lovely bathroom and toilet ( separate to the bathroom ) Well stocked with bathrobes, towels , sandals. The beds were something else! the entire bed had massage and other features, you could use the recliner function . You could activate the heating. A/C was good and cooled the room down really quick. The wall to wall tiles helps keep the room really cool even when its really hot outside. The team: Nazim and team were really sweet and helpful. They had a problem with their card machine , didnt' stop us from checking in. Got us checked in within minutes as we were really late ( almost midnight ) and told us we can sort the issue out next day. very helpful and made the stay really pleasant.

Great localisation at the heart of Jewish district in Kochi. Close to XVI century synagogue , Mattancherry and many great restaurants. Very safe area, good for families. Owner, Manoj, is a very easy going, helpful and trustworthy man. Just like in my case - He can recommend you really good places to eat, to drink, to make laundry or a great houseboat cruise for 3x less money than in internet(!). I regret I didn’t take a visit in Ayurvedic spa which is Mr. Manoj main business.
