What a great place to stay if you want some rest. Lovely and helpfull staff with a great attitude towards their guests. Location-wise this place has a lot to offer. Peaceful, close to a small beach where not a lot of people are to be found. The madam also made me feel at home! A sweet and interesting lady that loves what she is doing. We truly enjoyed this place. We visited with our baby toddler on 2 years and the staff was simply amazing and so kind to him. They helped babysit when we were eating and in the pool the staff also played with him. This made our stay very relaxing. The rooms are clean and big and the view is breathtaking. We will definitely come back if possible.

Really we had a good time there... Mr. Benny was soo friendly... Even we arrive there before check in time, they provide us temporary room for refreshing.. some resorts don't offer this facility... totally it was a nice experience

Everything. The property is just atop the cliff and you can feel the sea breeze, hear the waves crashing and enjoy the vibe all day. Huge rooms, exceptionally polite staff and speedy management! It also has it's own private beach where no general public can come!

Puthooram was just such a wonderful place to spend 4nights during one of the busiest tourist times in Varkala. Shyam who runs the place was communicative and was very easy to reach and very helpful prior to and during my stay. He recommended activities, arranged great tuk tuk drivers and even helped plan the next bit of my trip. The place is kept very clean with full time security and has such a nice chill, comfortable vibe to it. The location is such a nice spot on the North cliff and they have their restaurant right next door which offers you 10% off. The food and coffee was so good that I had many of my meals here. If you don't fancy their own restaurant you can just walk along the cliff to an endless choice of eateries, the same goes for shops for everything you could want. The in house masseuse is just amazing and very fairly priced. I would highly recommend and I plan to go back just for the massages! Overall an awesome place in Varkala.
