Absolute gem of a property! We stayed in the “annex” a very short walk from the main building. The property is perfectly located in the main centre. No canal view but that didn’t matter to us. Stylish room - very clean. Free mini bar and coffee in room.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We appreciated the rich breakfast and the lovely dinner, the desserts were really delicious. Our bedroom was nice and comfortable, with a nice view on the mountain. The bathroom was big enough for two guests and really clean. The outside pool was always clean and very relaxing. We would definetly return to explore more of the surrounding area!

The stay was wonderful. An old hotel in a modern version. The room was very clean and well-kept. Late arrival possible (we arrived after midnight). Mr. Matteo from the reception helped us with our luggage, told us about the hotel and the area. We needed a place for the car, there was no space outside, but it is possible to book an underground garage. The breakfasts were wonderful, a large selection of salty and sweet breakfasts (including a lot of fruit). At the farewell we got a jar with a sweet delicacy. Location is green and beautiful. I would gladly come back here. The hotel staff was smiling and helpful, which is a huge plus. I think they like their job :)

If you are planning on staying near Trento and Pergine Valsugana, or by Lago di Caldonazzo, and are keen on finding real quality accommodation, look no further. What a great find B&B Il Sambuco was for us! Set amidst nature, it is beautiful, quiet, with very well appointed rooms, delicious homemade produce for breakfast, and wonderful, welcoming hosts. We will definitely visit Monica and Marco again.
