The location is so central, and gorgeous. We jumped off the hotel dock into the lovely, clear lake to swim. The hotel has a labyrinth of interesting rooms, with furnishings which are traditional and full of character. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The grape vines over the lower terrace roof add charm, and the upper terraces offer good sunbathing spots.

The Approdo is superbly located by the Cinderella lake, Lago D’Orta. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff very helpful. The Buffet breakfast catered for all nationalities with a great choice of food. Staff at the pool shack made an iced espresso that kept the energy levels up. Can’t fault this property.

It is not the first hotel where we stayed within that area, but definitely the best one! Booking it I didn't expect to get such a level of hospitality, comfort and care. Restaurant 'LeBolle' deserves a special comment: food, wine list, service are amazing! Table setting with all the small details was so sophisticated that brought aesthetic pleasure in addition to gastronomic experience. Looking forward to spa area opening, I may expect it will be fantastic!
