The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

We had a very clean and silent accomodation. The staff was very helpful and gave us useful advices to our hikes. The Christmas Eve was amazing in Ella. I would definitely recommend the New Blue Home in Ella. (8 people group from Hungary)

Super clean, brand new, owners are really nice and offered coffee, tea, water etc. Not in the centrum of Ella, but in the forest in its own peace. Everything was awesome, i can recommend this place! 🙏

Stunning view of Ella. Probably the only hostel who has the view of Ella’s rock. The checkin guy was super friendly and helpful. Love the bean bags and the social areas facing the scenery. They have a small functioning kitchen if you want to cook and tired of the café food. 1 min walk to the busy area of Ella but the property is a lot higher than the street level, eliminating the noise from the street.
