I along with my family recently had the pleasure of staying at Regenta Resort & Spa by Riverside in Chitwan, Nepal, and it was exceptional experience from start to finish.The resort’s location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding jungle and the river creating a peaceful ambiance. Room was spacious andclean. The riverside view from the room was an added bonus.The facilities at Regenta are top-notch. We enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant. We called the chef to thank him personally. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff’s hospitality. Everyone, from the front desk to the dining team, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stunning natural surroundings, and outstanding service makes this resort a gem in Chitwan. I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable escape! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a perfect retreat in Nepal.

Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy. The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them. My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff. We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel. I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.

We had an excellent stay in Kasara. Surely one of the best, if not the best 5 star hotel in Chitwan. Staff were super polite and helpful, facilities was amazing and the food was superb, we enjoyed every single dish we were served. Raj and the team did an incredible job during our stay, highly recommended

A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit. After a long journey, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels, and even picked up directly from the bus station—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. Our stay at KC’s Home in Chitwan was nothing short of heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara. The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.

The remoteness of this lodge means you are more likely to encounter wildlife than in the more populated area of Sauraha. There were rhinoceros grazing each early morning in the river and the jeep safari brought us up close and personal. The guide is also extremely knowledgeable. This remoteness also gives you the calm, quiet and completely relaxing experience. The staff were absolutely exceptional, going well beyond the standard to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay the best it can possibly be. It is highly eco-sustainable, avoiding plastic wherever possible, the majority of staff are hired from the local community and they try to purchase as much food and services also from the local community. This investment helps reduce locals reliance on income sources that may be more harmful to the environment and wildlife. Is it expensive? When compared to other Nepalese accommodation and services, yes. Is it worth it though? Absolutely!

we liked everything about the property. it was a tranquil oasis and a much needed break from city life. the staff are absolutely incredible, so attentive and they showed us such kindness and made us feel very at home. we went on a jeep safari with some of the staff and had a fantastic time, even though we didn’t see a tiger, we still saw lots of incredible jungle wildlife and it was a dream to be that immersed in nature. food is exceptional, all very fresh and the chefs and serving staff are all really lovely.
