Lovely, calm hotel with everything you need. The staff was super friendly and helpful. When we visited Sintra, all the historical sites like palace and castle were closed due to high fire risk, but the hotel‘s staff provided us with good tips how to spend our time while waiting for the historical sites to be opened again. The hotel is super calm, great rooms, great pool to cool down and very good breakfast. We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice!

Great house with a lot of facilities and everything clean. Even bigger than you would suspect based on the online photos. Coffee machine was broken but within a second replaced by our host.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The infinity pool is just perfect with amazing views to the coast. Our room was really comfortable and felt very private. Breakfast was excellent. Easy stroll to the village where there are several good restaurants.

Stunning villa. Exceptional interior. Let me explain: I booked CDF just because of the location and the affordable price. I was taken aback by the standard it offers. A very positive surprise. However, there have been some issues that came up during my short (dusk to dawn) stay that I would like to mention below.

The historic building and furnishings were beautiful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They were also able to provide information about the town and area that is not easily found because most of the staff live nearby but also have been working for the hotel for decades. The room was magical, with a balcony overlooking the ravine and at least 2 castles. The experience was surreal.

As a family with two boys (ages 7 and 8), we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay. Everyone was kind, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team.
