I really had a great experience here. The owner is very enthusiastic, caring and professional. Because he is a local, what he shared was very useful for the trip. The room was very clean, quiet, what I was most satisfied with was that it had a private swimming pool. The breakfast was prepared extremely quickly. I contacted the reception about the tours and it was great. The car picked me up at homestay.

Excellent, spacious room, as you can see in the pictures. Unfortunately, there is no picture of the view from the balcony, facing the mountains: magnificent. There is an elevator. Almost everything essential: the departure point for the boats to the Phong Nha cave (you don't need an organized tour here, you buy the ticket and that's it, they will take you there), shops and two excellent restaurants, just opposite: in Bamboo they serve both Western and Vietnamese food, these are a little it's being modified, but it's excellent, on the other hand, I recommend trying the beef Pho (soup) made in the local style at the local restaurant to the left of it. Its seasoning is special. The only problem with Phong Nha is if you come to Dong Hoi by train or bus: the taxi drivers are real mountain robbers. Try to choose a bus that takes you directly to Phong Nha.

The staff were wonderful. In particular one lady, sorry we didn't get her name but she spoke both French and English and was very helpful our whole stay. We can't wait to come back. Lots of activities from kayaking, swimming and biking.

We were there during Tet, and had the place to ourselves until the last day, when many Vietnamese families arrived to celebrate Tet together. The staff were amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed, and one staff member even gave us a special Bánh Tét (glutinous rice cake with pork belly and mung beans filling, cooked in banana leaf for 24 hours) that his wife had made. The food was lovely, and during our 4-day stay, we were able to sample many of the dishes available. We were in one of the farm cabins, which was roomy, with the most comfortable bed. I had the best nights’ sleeps I had experienced for a long time. The most wonderful thing was the smiles we received every time we came in contact with any of the staff. With many hugs as we checked out, we really did feel as though we arrived as guests and left as family.

You are missing out if you don’t stay here! Amazing, kind and welcoming family, spacious and clean room and fantastic room top pool with breathtaking views of the mountains. The family insisted on picking us up and dropping us to our bus even though we arrived very late at night and gave us a clean room to sit and change in after check out. Fresh cooked breakfast daily and small touches that made an impact such as having the air conditioning on before we arrived so the room was lovely and cool. 10 starts all around, can’t recommend enough!
