The spacious and ultra luxurious rooms (which were well equipped and quiet) and the serene yet central location made us wish we booked a longer stay. Stunning location to explore the many activities and experiences that the town of Hoedspruit and surrounding area has to offer. Little shops, restaurants and of course the Greater Kruger are right on your doorstep. We were warmly greeted and the helpful and friendly staff assisted us in planning and arranging everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.

The lodge is absolutely incredible, the decoration is on point, the setting is amazing and the food very good! But what makes your stay also incredible is the staff, especially Caroline who makes you feel like home and the owner who makes sure everything is perfect for you! Will absolutely come back if we have the opportunity!

Nyati Lodge is a stunning oasis of tranquility set in 10,000 hectares of game filled reserve. We stayed in a beautiful riverside bungalow, spacious and well equipped. It was a short walk to the main buildings with the restaurant and pool. Staff were attentive and friendly across the board. There are two game drives a day, and we were lucky enough to see all Big Five animals during our two day stay, a testament to the guides’ expertise. When not on drive there was a gym, driving range and pétanque pitch for those who fancied an activity, and hammocks, comfortable chairs and a pool for those who would rather relax. The food was of a high quality both in taste and presentation. We had an absolutely fantastic few days and would highly recommend to anyone looking to go on safari in the Kruger!

Was very homely, and we instantly settled in. I wish we could of stayed for longer! Nice and peaceful location very close to central Hoedspruit. I will definitely come back again, and would certainly recommend for a couple looking for a quiet retreat. Staff were also incredibly helpful with regards to any queries. I won't ever forget my weekend there!
