The luxurious Xheko Imperial Hotel boasts a location in the very centre of Tirana, close to the big park. The Carlsberg Restaurant serves Albanian and Italian specialties and features a rooftop terrace, while the wine bar offers a wide selection of local wines. There is a very fine line with these kind of hotels where the statues and decor can look old or tacky, but not here. It is an architectural marvel, and they do a great work on preserving the tradition with modern aesthetics. The spa and indoor pool are ammmazing. We had a couple’s thai massage and totally recommend it. The girls that did us are from Bali. Gym is small but has a very good set of cable machines, chest press and dumbbells. Cardio machines a little outdated, but overall a decent gym hotel. We had our laundry done, delivered the next day perfectly folded/hanged, and I can still smell the pleasant detergent. Breakfast, I can only say good things when I find almond milk (in Europe). Parking is valet. Our room was great. Spacious, good bed and pillows, and the bathroom was super nice with amazing water pressure and temperature. AC perfect. Dark to sleep. It was modern. We even had speakers in the bathroom. Location is unbeatable: walking distance from all the restaurants/stores in Blloku, we even walked to the main attractions, castle and the mall. And this was during the summer. Highly recommend this hotel. It is a complete experience. Not just a good place to sleep.

Speaking English, Spanish, Italian and Albanian at the reception, staff are ready to help around the clock. The place is great, the staff is superb at everything they do. They even sewed the buttons of my jacket and ironed my shirt promptly free of charge. The breakfast, food was great, a sweedish table, also the chef, approached friendly and asked if I needed anything special, I had one of the best omelets. Place has Wifi, AC, electronic drapes, and a full window view. Safe parking.
