This property was the nicest, cleanest, and most incredible hotel we have stayed at. The spa facilities, staff, and room were exceptional and exceeded all expectations. Would recommended this place to anyone.

Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and Verbena Restaurant with its own bar on site. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.

Skiing and windsurfing can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service and ski storage space are also available on-site. Cozy, warm, spacious, clean, perfect for a family of 4. It had complete amenities that we all needed. We cooked for 2 nights and we enjoyed the experience of cooking in the apartment. The property had a small vineyard and we were able to try Martin’s red wine. Best is the warm accommodation we felt from Daniela who picked us up from the train station and brought us back on our way to our next destination. We also liked that the property was very near a church.

The pool area is fitted with padded daybeds. I travel a lot and lots of experience with 5-star hotels. This one is definitely in my top 3. Very large and modern with some vintage touches. Suites are huge and well equipped with tablet to operate everything. Nice sugar bar, wine bar, multiple kitchens, really nice spa. Staff is really good and sincerely polite and helpful.
