The room was very comfortable with an amazing balcony that gave an outstanding view of the lake a couple miles away. Nicely situated between St Gallen and the restaurants/bars along the shore of the lake. Gorgeous!

The location was beautiful, parking easy, the spa amazing, my room and the view off the balcony was beautiful! Everything was very well thought out. I liked the refreshment stands on each floor, I thought it that was a really good touch! It wasn’t a massive hotel so getting around was super easy, the restaurants were lovely and the food, well, yum!! All the staff seemed very pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much :) the spa area is phenomenal, so so relaxing! The outdoor pools and area are fabulous, if you enjoy nature then this is the place! I had a manicure whilst I was there and my therapist was lovely! Very friendly too. I don’t think I’ve felt that relaxed in a long time, thank you.

Hotel Frohe Aussicht is located in the small village of Schwende near Appenzell. I was mainly looking for a place to stay for one night, and I chose this one because it was conveniently located and had its own parking space. So I wasn't expecting much, but it quickly became clear that Hotel Frohe Aussicht was an excellent choice. The room was basic, with a private balcony and bathroom. The hotel had an excellent restaurant. The staff were nice and professional. The views from the balcony were amazing. I could have spent more nights here. I definitely recommend it.

The year-round fitness centre with a spa section is directly connected to the Einstein Hotel and can be used free of charge (minimum age 14 years accompanied by parents or legal guardians.). It includes an extensive gym, indoor pool, steam and soft steam bath, sun beds, and a variety of massages and body treatments. I stayed at the hotel with two dogs. There was a large dog carpet and bowls waiting for me in the room. The room was spacious and we felt comfortable sleeping there. The hotel has a lovely fitness centre which I enjoyed working out in the morning. The breakfast was great and the service at the reception, restaurant and fitness centre was excellent. The room was clean, had a bathrobe, slippers, all hygiene products, the shower was spacious and comfortable. There was a kettle and everything to make tea in the room.
