A buffet, continental or American breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. 1) This boutique hotel is locate Lujia Village is a small village on the bank of the Reed Flute Scenic Area and the Taohua River in Guilin. Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. excellent hotel - rooms were spacious, facilities were new/well-maintained, food was solid (they have yangshuo local foods too), the lobby staff were very helpful and friendly (special shout out to Sarah!). the hotel also includes complimentary (1) 2 free drinks, (2) photoshoot - 5 photos free, the rest were RMB 80 per photo, (3) hotel tour. Sugarhouse also has several fun activities to choose from such as rock climbing (in the hotel premise), syrup making, candle making - making the stay super special!

Outside you can really relax and enjoy peaceful moments. Staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. Melody helped us to organize activities and also lunch and dinner. We really appreciate her kindness.

Surrounded by mountains and waters, the property offers quiet accommodation and peaceful ambience where you may easily relax. Beautiful area, and far from city center. Comfortable clean rooms with amenities and nice view. Breakfast was so good and freshly prepared. They provide electric bike and bicycles for guests to use, free of charge. Incredibly attentive and cooperative host, thank you Mr. Xiao. He gifted us watermelon and cookies before taking off to our next stop.

Buffet and American breakfast options are available at the accommodation. Superb location, very central on the river and a few minutes walk from Elephant Hill and the Sun and Moon pagodas, which I could see from the room. Booked a balcony room which had a huge bath overlooking the views, well appointed, modern and clean with some lovely little touches and soft bedlinen. The rooftop has stunning views and a couple of tables. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff super helpful.

All units at the homestay come with a seating area. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a hot tub and slippers, the units at the homestay have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms here will provide you with a terrace. At the homestay, the units come with bed linen and towels. The host land lady was very sincere and humble. She was always ready to help. She made all the arrangements for the Guilin tour for us. We really enjoyed our trip to Guilin because of her.
