The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. Breakfast was great Spa was the nicest one I’ve visited Staff very helpful

The host was lovely and so accommodating. The lodge was very comfortable and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back.

Boasting a heated pool and mountain views, Howgill is located in Windermere. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The spa and wellness centre includes a sauna, hot tub, fitness centre and public bath. John, the owner, was very kind and available when we needed him. The house is really big and it has everything you may possibly need for your stay. The place was also clean and close to many shops, restaurants, and other fabulous villages! We are a couple with four small children and we definitely felt at home!

Just a mile from Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, this luxury boutique hotel offers home-cooked food and free Wi-Fi. Windermere Rail Station is only 15 minutes’ walk away, and there is free parking on site.

Rooms all feature a large widescreen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a king-size bed and luxury bathroom. Some luxury suites have outdoor hot tubs and seating areas. Fantastic attention from all staff. Nothing was too much trouble and really made the stay.

Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club offers free use of an offsite Health club, where you can use the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. This is 1.5 miles away.

Breakfast is complimentary and offered in traditional full English breakfast with fish options. Vegetarian and Vegan alternatives are also offered. Rooms clean and comfortable Staff were amazing Breakfast was delicious

Beaumont House is a charming, family-run Victorian guesthouse, exclusively for adults, nestled in a peaceful location just moments from the vibrant center of Windermere. Perfectly positioned, it is only a short stroll from Windermere Railway Station and offers complimentary Wi-Fi and private on-site parking. I really like the vibes and the staff cooperation

St John's Lodge offers an extensive range of cooked breakfasts including traditional English, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan and fresh fish dishes.

There is free access to an off-site health club, located 2 miles from St John's Lodge. This provides free access to a swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fitness classes for all guests during their stay, including on check out day. We have nothing but praise for our lovely hosts, they couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent and Rich still had time to chat to us. Everything was superb.

Guests have the use of Choices Gym, Spa and *Pool. This facility is situated 2 miles away and can be reached by bus.

The extensive breakfast menu includes a choice of fruit, homemade jam and marmalade, a traditional cooked breakfast or continental and vegetarian options. Locally sourced produce is used. We had a fantastic stay at Thornbank Guest House in Bowness-on-Windermere. It’s run by Jane and Mark who are a lovely, lively couple who made us feel genuinely welcome. The rooms were beautifully kept: spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Just a 10 minute walk from the shops, restaurants, and attractions around Windermere. Breakfast was great every morning and really set us up for the day. Jane was incredibly helpful, offering great tips on where to go, what to book, and the best timing for different activities, which made a big difference to our experience. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Lake District!

Situated in Windermere, Southview Spa Windermere features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The holiday home offers a spa experience, with its sauna, hot tub and indoor pool. The property is non-smoking and is set 2 km from World of Beatrix Potter. Everything about the property was first class, from location to rooms to facilities. Simply outstanding. The photos do not do it justice as it is even better in real life.
