Mystery Hotel Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a historically themed luxury hotel located in the 6th district in downtown Budapest, in an eclectic palace built in the 19th century. This 5-star hotel offers free WiFi and in-house spa and wellness area. Hungarian State Opera is 900 m away and St. Stephen's Basilica is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. We had an amazing stay at Mystery Hotel Budapest. Very clean rooms, relaxing atmosphere, nice staff . We loved the breakfast. The options might not be super big but there is a lot of variation from day to day which keeps it interesting. Some people wrote in their reviews there was only a normal coffee machine but this is actually not true. You can ask any staff or at the bar to get barrista coffee/sparkling wine/poached and fried eggs and they are happy to prepare it without additional charge. The coffee barrista is very skilled and drew pumkins in my coffee for halloween. Maybe its a well kept secret part of their theme as many people didn't order proper coffee :D Also the spa area is nice, there is a small warm pool, a steam room and a sauna. They also have a rooftop and a jacuzzi but both was closed when we visited.

Everything was perfect-friendly and helpful staff,beautiful and modern clean rooms, perfect and abundant breakfast. Location is great, in the centre. If we ever go back,we'll definitely stay there again.

Downtown Hotel Visegrád, overlooking the Danube River, offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and balconies. It features an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tubs with direct Danube views. The hotel has leisure activities including tennis, medieval tournaments and royal feasts. Hotel is conveniently located close to Danube and city centre. Breakfast and dinner were very nice, plenty of options everyday. Wellness area was great especially for kids. We consider this hotel a great choice for families.
