We got the ground floor 2-bedrooms unit of this restored heritage building. The parking is just outside the main door, so convenient for us. It looks like a remnant of time past by yet the interior is stunningly decorated (those amazing chandeliers for central lighting) & furniture feels so richly luxurious. I love the unit layout & each bedroom is ensuite. The kitchen has everything you need for simple cooking. After days of travelling, we needed laundry facility. The shared laundry is locked, just steps away behind the building. We called Katrina to get the access code & she promptly picked up the call. Both washing machine & dryer were easy to use. Cool! Bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Rooms have heaters that we appreciated as we were still not used to the cold'ish summer weather..

Their wealth of knowledge about the area was Extensive. The breakfasts were out of this world as they had owned their own restaurant for 30 years. They made us feel pampered and at home. You do need a car as their property is a few miles out of Queenstown.

The apartment is beautiful, big and spacious with large windows and a marvellous view. We liked all, especially the comfortable bed, the bathtube with whirlpool and the ocean view. The last morning there was an awesome and spectacular sunrise with rainbow, the best ever we had. From Kaka Point we could visit easily many places of the Katlins, so we loved it. The responsable woman was very helpful and friendly, f.e. with the key and all our questions.
