Tasman Sea Retreat offers 5-star accommodation with a spa centre. We arrived late afternoon and enjoyed a relaxing hot tub on the patio. The view from our room was breathtaking! Everything we needed was available and the bed was very comfortable. We took a hike to Pancake Rocks and ate breakfast at the cafe. The pancakes were delicious!

The lady at the desk was so nice! She recommended a couple of places to eat, and she was right about how good they were. The bed was comfy and the room had a nice tub. She gave us milk and cookies, too!

The hotel restaurant serves breakfast and dinner using the best of fresh New Zealand produce. The setting in the coastal rainforest is lovely. My room looked directly into a dense forest which was very unique. Nicely decorated wood accents in room, very comfortable seating area for two in room and on deck. Excellent shower. Dinner and breakfast were very good quality.
