The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and high-quality linens. The bathroom, featuring double sinks, was also very roomy. The location is excellent, and the historic building has plenty of character and is beautifully decorated. Breakfast and the restaurants were outstanding—one of them even has a Michelin mention. Every member of the staff was attentive and welcoming, especially a young receptionist with blonde hair and blue eyes who mentioned she was a student. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest hotels in Gothenburg.

The minimum age to enter the spa facilities and pool is 18 years, or 16 years if accompanied by an adult. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, which made the stay feel comfortable from the start. The location is very convenient — just a short walk from the train station (we arrived from Stockholm and easily came by foot), and only about 10 minutes to reach the restaurant and city center area. I also loved the design of the hotel, especially the lobby, where I worked for a couple of hours in a relaxed atmosphere. Considering the service, comfort, and easy access to Stockholm, the hotel offers excellent value for the price.

The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre is a 5-minute walk away. Guest rooms are picturesquely furnished where modern is mixed with a touch of boho and vintage, it feels like coming home when guests stay. Complimentary tea and coffee are offered all day. Within a 10-minute walk is Liseberg Amusement Park and the city's main entertainment street, Avenue. The Scandinavium Tram Stop is 100 metres away and takes guests to Gothenburg Central Station in 5 minutes. As I stayed in this great hotel for the 3rd time (I travel to a conference in Gothenburg once per year) they upgraded me to the apartment on the top floor. This was great experience! Breakfast is very good as always and staff are friendly!
