The restaurant at the hotel specialises in Italian-inspired cuisine and has a wood-fired pizza oven and a live-show kitchen for guest interaction. The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were amazing. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but I have to say that the staff at here were amazing. Housekeeping, the reception staff, waiters at the restaurant, the reservation team! I’m not sure how they managed to recruit the right people for every position. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, breakfast had great choices. The ginger shots were such a great touch.

Mountain Marina Luxury Apartments, situated in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town boasts views overlooking the yacht basin in the V&A Waterfront Marina Residential. The apartments have access to 3 swimming pools.

Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. For relaxation, guests can arrange to have an aromatherapy treatment or massage in their apartment. A gym is on site an can be used for a fee. The location is very very good, you are just in the waterfront and anytime of the day you feel safe. Only thing I can say as a negative is there was no elevator and this was hard for us with a stroller.

Schulphoek Seafront House is elegantly decorated with original mid-century art and furniture, and has spacious well-appointed modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The house offers a complimentary shuttle service in an around Hermanus and a concierge desk. Everything was great at the property, I liked the fact that the food was farm fresh and without any chemicals, it’s home cooked as well, tastes amazing. The room was spacious and the staff was really friendly, the location is great as it’s in a very quiet neighborhood, it’s right in front of a foot path that is 2km long, great for walks.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. It features a pool and a restaurant.

Guests can experience game viewing tours organized by the Lodge. The sun loungers by the pool allow guests to have a relaxing sun bath. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas. We have been on multiple safaris throughout 12 years in both Eastern and Western Cape. This one was by far the best value. We have never seen a Cheetah that close. Our ranger Tim was exceptional and the restaurant had the best food. The villa was gorgeous and clean. The swimming pools as well. We will be back!

There is a spacious fitness centre, fully equipped with Techno machines for working out. Loved the cleanliness and the attention provided to my best friend and I during our week stay! Dale, the head of concierge was amazing and so was Cyril from the front desk along with Khany who is a waitress during the breakfast shift. Everyone was so attentive, even the people who do house keeping!

Full English breakfast is served at Shoreditch Restaurant. It also serves South-African cuisine with a European twist, indoors or on the terrace. High Tea is available every Saturday and on Sundays, there are jazz brunches with live music. The hotel and staff were fantastic! The location is perfect, the room and facilities are great, but what made our stay is the exceptionally friendly staff.

During your stay at the Auberge Burgundy Boutique Hotel & Spa, you can easily visit the popular local restaurants, the craft market, boutiques, art galleries and quaint shopping malls. The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!
