If you want to get away from it all with fantastic views fresh air and peace this is the place for you, when you get to the gate its nearly a mile up a track up the mountain to the farm house and cottage, the views just driving up are lovely. At the property there is a dedicated parking space for guests. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and warm (we visited in November) with all you need inside, when we arrived there was a loaf of bread and milk waiting for us. Carys and Kerry are such lovely people and hosts if you need anything or information they will assist, but also leave you to enjoy your stay, they will introduce you to their pygmy goats and a few other animals they are all very friendly. The cottage is well situated for travel, within a short while you are in the Brecon Beacons, or in the other direction the M4 and also the town of Bridgend for shopping only a few minuets away.

Quirky room, with dark walls funky LED flights around the room and lights on the ceiling imitating stars. Really wasn't expecting the room to look like that as it's so quaint from outside but really cool and we loved it!!!

With a traditional restaurant and cosy bar, the Green Acre Motel offers free parking and cooked breakfasts. The M4 motorway and picturesque Porthcawl are just 5 minutes’ drive away.

The atmosphere generated by the staff was terrific. It all seemed to be like staying with a family. Nothing seemed to be too much touble. They call themselves the R and C team which is exactly what they are - a team. And very successful .we are very old but we would love to go back I'd we get the chance.

The breakfast was excellent. Our room was very spacious, comfortable beds and quality linen. We had lunch which was excellent and good value for money. The bathroom needs updating.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.All areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable, including the room that I stayed in. The room had a window that could be opened for fresh air which is important for me. Thanks!

This hotel is set in the Rhondda Valley, 300 metres from Rhondda Heritage Park. It has a bar and good restaurant serving traditional cuisine.
