We were traveling with our elderly parents, aged 70 and 75, and were understandably concerned about how they would manage in such a remote, secluded part of the world. But what unfolded was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Ravinder and Prabha made us feel cared for and at peace. They didn’t treat us like guests — they treated us like family. They personally ensured that our senior parents were looked after with patience, dignity, and exceptional attention to detail. Chef Ravinder cooked warm, homely Indian meals with love and consideration for their health and preferences — something we never expected to find in such a distant corner of the UK. Manager Prabha Reddy coordinated everything with such quiet efficiency and warmth — from check-in to little comforts that made all the difference. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. Their teamwork, hospitality, and sheer human kindness were beyond professional — they were deeply personal. In a place so far away, where we least expected it, we found heart, soul, and unforgettable service. If anyone deserves a generous raise and incentive, it’s Chef Ravinder Singh and Manager Prabha Reddy. Absolutely perfect oasis to stay when visiting Isle of Skye, you have all the benefits of the area without the hustle and bustle with the cottage located in an oasis of its own. The ferry from Glenelg across to Isle of Skye was a majory highlight for out day visit, and we loved our dinner at the local Glenelg Pub. Only downside if wish we had more time to relax and unwind in the surrounding Glenelg area; the views and roads were so quiet and stunning, perfect for running and cyling alike!

Very well serviced and appointed - we appreciated the welcome package on arrival. Roomy apartment - good beds, plenty of linen, washer and dryer- great advantage for us. So well located to Visit Plockton village, Eilean Donan Castle and Isle of Skye. Fantastic Fish Chip van on Friday night. Lovely view, close to Spa grocery and little pub. I travelled from Australia on a spiritual journey and met an American woman in the Saucy Mary restaurant next door. We are now engaged :)

Right at the water front, a nice and pleasant place, next door there is an eatery with delicious local sea food.

The kings arms hotel staff were amazing. They were patient as we arrived really late and we had difficulty with our connection they were still patient. The breakfast staff were helpful and smiling and the food was tasty.

Pleasant atmosphere, the staff were very friendly, the facilities were nice, and it was especially great having a pub connected to the hotel.

Use this hotel often and it never fails to deliver. Great rooms and food.
