We tried the Sri Lankan Breakfast, it was very tasty. They served it fresh and on time. The staff at the restaurant & front desk were very friendly. Mr. Travis from the operations was extremely helpful in providing information and making arrangements. He is an asset to the hotel.

The view of the hills from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking. The decoration of the room is very arty and even unique. Would recommend this place as a retreat for resting too. It has a nice little pool. Staff is helpful and organizes tuktuks for you at the best price.

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

It is very rarely when I decide to leave a rating on the internet of the places I visit. But our stay was made incredibly unforgettable by Blom, who showed us around his village, his home, village’s paddy fields etc. We also went to waterfalls and viewpoints but these you can find anywhere. What made it special was Blom’s sincere, jolly presence. A fantastic way to spend a day in Ella region!

Amazing hotel with beautiful view. Rooms have big terrace with amaca and sofas to relax while viewing the amazing landscape. Food is great and staff very friendly. It has also an area for kids to play, our son enjoyed it. They picked us from Ella station. Hotel si a few mins by walk from the centre, so easy to reach.

It is a very nice friendly atmosphere, very spacious and very clean room, big king size bed with neat and clean sheets, linens and pillows, attached bathroom to have a hot shower and very clean toilet and shower area. Shiva was the most respectful and kind host managing very well. He was very helpful, when I was limping. Provided a medicated oil with hot water soaked towel to apply on leg muscles to relieve pains and to feel better. He followed up genuinely on my need like a professional care taker. Also he arranged a good masseur practice close by for a nominal fee. There was another very good lad , Nesan, who too was helping me to the masseur and provided a translation service to her on my leg problem. It was a great help from them and it worked very well for me to continue my hike on "Little Adam's Peak" Being a vegetarian with no egg, Shiva arranged, of course with lead time, a custom made vegetarian breakfast that was served very well. It was very very helpful and good too. Can definitely highly recommend this place!
