Friendly, helpful, attentive, and always available to answer questions and provide information. Great location near the city center with various shops nearby. All the facilities are very comfortable, and the hotel photos accurately reflect reality. The food and breakfasts are plentiful and good. I’ll definetly come back soon. What a lovely, friendly, quiet hotel, everything was fantastic, the food (you must try the Thali) breakfast delicious and plentiful, the staff always with a smile, and my room was so comfortable, piping hot shower, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, tea coffee and kettle, thick bathrobe and slippers, nothing forgotten, and my room had a view of the Swoyambhu Temple which is a must visit, it's stunning. I easily arranged my tours with Dolakh the owner directly, after wasting my time before scrolling online, the shared helicopter tour to Mount Everest was simply incredible, a once in a lifetime adventure, and it turned out to be much cheaper than the other people on the trip had paid, the day tour to the sunrise at Nagarkot, Bhaktapur, Buddha stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, was fantastic, 2 Unesco World Heritage sites in 1 day. All of my onward domestic flights booked for me too, at a fraction of the cost of trying to do it myself, a speedy, easy service, very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend you choose this hotel and tour company (Mountain Mart).

The hotel staffs are exceptional: friendly, helpful, polite and very kind. They also provide some tours available at the Hotel both in Kathmandu and cities around. I love how they have digital TV so I can watch Youtube/Netflix during my stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect – the rooms were spotless, and the location was very convenient, just a short distance from the city center. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even picked me up from the airport, which was a thoughtful touch. As a tourist from Central Europe, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Cozy place with great hospitality and service!.. Had a smooth airport pickup and check-in. The room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel has a very strategic location, which is close to beautiful temples, bazaar and other must-visit sightseeing easy to reach by walk. The breakfast is a buffet type with very delicious traditional food - taste way better than in some expansive hotels we stayed in Nepal. In addition, I want to say big thanks to Mr. Tulsi for his help with arranging taxi to our next destination!..

I really enjoyed the staying here. Let’s start from the staff that’s really friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious and had a very comfortable bed and a nice hot shower with good pressure. I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed my staying there. It’s in the heart of Thamel, so close to many restaurants and shops, but it is in a quiet side road.

It is dificult to summarize a proper praise to this hotel. Been in Nepal for almost three months, in over 10 hotels, some of them really good. I mean: really. But none compare to this one. I came here for 2 days, to see if I felt comfortable for a convelescence period (after a leg injury in the mountains), or had to move somewhere else ("better" and way more expensive) as I would be 24/7 in the room/facilities. Those 2 days were more than enough to realize how lucky I'd been finding this place: right center of Thamel, but in an inner street with no noise; nice and very clean rooms with super comfortable bed; big modern bathroom; top breakfast, buffet style, with both variety and quality (something rare); and most importantly, amazing staff (security, cleaners, reception, waiters...all of it), willing to help beyond the extra mile. You can easily see the hand of Ishan, the exceptional manager, that makes this 3 star hotel a 5 star hotel experience -- the humble oppinion of a very frequent traveller and guest in hundreds of hotels and apartments. Needless to say that I extended my stay to over 8 days, and can't wait to come back. If you want the best place for the (high) value in the entire Kathmandu, do not hesitate: this is it.
