Perfect location. 3 minutes of walk to the bus station to take the bus back to Taipei (or the arrival station of the bus from Alishan). The Sun Moon Lake is right outside the hotel's restaurant. Good selection of breakfast but mostly Chinese style. The room is quite small, but understandable. The staff can speak English.

Austin at front desk spoke English very well and explained to me all i could do in area, even providing discount code for biking and extended check out by an hour so i could shower before a long day ahead of transportation. My room faced the lake and was amazing. The breakfast was one of the best during my vacation. I liked the shower and bath option that did not the rest of bathroom wet. I bought a bath bomb at 711 nearby and soaked after full day biking.

Just a 1-minute walk from Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, Yo Shen Jing Resorts features beautiful natural views around.

I was abit early on that day with my heavy luggages, was thinking to just leave my luggage to head for the cultural village but to my surprised was greeted with a friendly staff . Everything after that just got better and better . I was allowed to choose my room considering my heavy luggages, give me a tour around , early check in so that I can go ahead with my plan. I was worried for dinner as I don’t see any restaurants around and was offered to be taken out to grab my dinner . I felt welcoming and was blessed with their genuine hospitality. Whatever i experienced here was relaxing and homey. As I travel with my 17 months old he loves it and enjoyed the stay. Overall it exceeded my expectations in terms of their service I think they don’t have to do what they did for me , but they do it anyway without me asking . That is a 10/10. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The staff here were amazing and friendly. The location is beyond perfect. Everything is walkable- takes less than 10 min to get to the convenience store like Family Mart & 7-11. There's also near to the public transport instantly accessible. Our room was on the 13th floor and faced the mountain and what a magnificent view it was especially at night, our room was lovely and big and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there were multiple pillow options. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was really well maintained.

The view from the room overlooking the lake was gorgeous despite the fact that water level of the lake was down. Location was great and the bed possibly one of the most comfortable on our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the inclusive breakfast also very good.

The view from the room is exceptional. The beds are comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It seems like they are still busy with some renovations, but it didn't bother us.

Great location, great price, excellent service. Breakfast is all you can eat. Staff at the front desk are professional, nice and 24/7 available. Close to cable cart, trail, ferry station and market. Highly recommended and definitely will come back for myself.
