The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

Ibis Styles Basel City is located in Basel, within easy walking distance from Basel SBB train station. The St. Jakob-Park stadium and the Messe Basel can be easily reached by tram. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are included in all rates. Everything was great, from the reception to the breakfast. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The bath products were nice, shower pressure good and we had an excellent sleep in the silent room, excellent bed.

The room was big, tidy and included a kitchenette ( the kettle, combined with the tea bags from reception kept us warm). Also there are other appliances in the lobby that you could borrow. The buffet breakfast was quite diverse (having the option to make fresh orange juice was appreciated).

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. It is simple, but has everything needed, great location, nice staff, super value for money.
