It was very comfortable and clean, including a good smell (not at all smelling like cigarettes as many hotels in China). The size was very much adequate for my needs. All the appliances worked well and were enough to make my stay smooth. Lisa, the host, was absolutely great! Very welcoming and willing to help when needed. She was of particularly great help to get a package I had bought and could not find. She was also very attentive to my needs concerning room cleaning. All this while allowing me to do my things and not constantly messaging. Definitely would stay there again, as the cost-benefit is great for my standards.

Each floor has several showers and toilets, separated for men and women. Wi-Fi – fast and reliable. Breakfast – tasty, with a complimentary drink on the day of arrival. Staff were exceptionally friendly which is main reason why I stayed twice. Also , the rooms were very clean, comfortable, great beds, and quiet. For taxi from station, I had the exact address but taxi needed to call to get directions (as address was in english, make sure your address is in Chinese). THERE ARE MANY JL hotels in Shanghai so make sure you don't get dropped at the wrong one! It is 10 mins walk to Wunning Road metro station, so easy to get to all main attractions in the city from the hotel. To get from airport is easy, take Line 2, then one change to Wunning Road station... about 1 and a half - 2 hrs. Finally, there are a few gym items in/near lobby area and a coffee machine there - which had great coffee with creamer! Thank you to staff for a lovely stay;)

The owners are great they even allowed me to shower after check out because i had to check out in the morning but my flight was at midnight so i visited all day while they kept m luggage and finally i went to take them in the evening and i could shower to refresh (necessary because i spent the whole day outside and it was july and in shanghai there are like 45* degrees outside) myself before my flight back to italy
