It is an old coaching inn built in the 1600s and it has been beautifully decorated and is run by the owner and two other middle aged ladies and they run the place like a well oiled machine. We were very impressed. Food was the best food we had during a week in Scotland. We highly recommend this hotel.

The 3-star bed and breakfast features city views and is 45 km from Mugdock Country Park. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Our stay at Ben A'an House really exceeded our expectations. It was only a one-night stay on the way to the north of Scotland and we really didn´t needed much. BUT! The house was really nicely and tastefully renewed (reality is much better than photos!), the host was really helpful and attentive, the breakfast was the best one we got during our trip through Scotland. Shared bathroom was really nice and spacious – and it was used only by two room – what meant we didn´t met anyone. Thank you again!

Very polite staff, our flight was delayed and we were able to check in very late and they waited us for our arrival. Unfortunately we stayed there only a night and left the next morning so we were not able to properly enjoy the hotel but highly recommend.
